Lights are going out
Or, as we like to call it: Light aus. After 15 years, it’s time to close a chapter that has been so much more than a festival. Lighthouse
was never just about music. It was about friendships made on the dancefloor and carried into everyday life. About unforgettable nights, beautiful mornings, crazy stories, pop-up venues, sunsets, the sea and a place that, for many of us, felt like home for a few days every year.
And now, sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to that home and beautiful place .
There are several reasons behind this decision, most of them simply and sadly beyond our control. The future of the venue is changing, parts of it will be demolished and others renovated for different purposes. At the same time, costs and conditions have changed.
But there is one thing we know for sure: We don’t want to change what Lighthouse has always been just to make it work. So, after 15 incredible years, we choose to go out on our own terms. And honestly, this one hurts.
Lanterna was never just a festival location. It was part of the Lighthouse story. The pine trees. The little paths. The sunsets. The feeling of arriving and thinking: We’re home. At least for five days a year. We’ve seen countless stories unfold there. Friendships, love stories, reunions, unforgettable nights, days or mornings and, as far as we know, even four Lighthouse babies were made along the way.
Now it’s time to create one final chapter.

Whether you were there from the very beginning, joined somewhere along the way, came just once, or have never experienced Lighthouse before: This is your last chance. We are already putting everything we have into making 2027 the most special Lighthouse ever. The last one. The most emotional one. A celebration of the people who made it what it is. A celebration of 15 years of Lighthouse Croatia.
