Die Europäische Filmakademie ruft zur Teilnahme auf (Los Bandos)

FEATURE FILMS participating in the European Film Awards 2019 must be European* feature-length fiction films intended for theatrical release which must have had their first official screening (be it at a festival or at a regular cinema) between 1 June 2018 and 31 May 2019. The EFA Board has the right in exceptional cases to refrain from this rule.
In order to be eligible, the film has to fulfil at least one of the following criteria:
- To have been awarded at major festivals
- To have received major attention at festivals
- To have been sold to or theatrically released in at least three countries.

DOCUMENTARY FILMS taken into consideration must have a minimum length of 70 minutes and have had their first official screening (be it at a festival or at a regular cinema) between 1 June 2018 and 31 May 2019. The EFA Board has the right to refrain from this rule in exceptional cases.
In order to be eligible, the film has to fulfil at least one of the following criteria:
- To have been awarded at major festivals
- To have received major attention at festivals
- To have been sold to or theatrically released in at least one country.

ANIMATED FEATURE FILMS taken into consideration must have a minimum length of 60 minutes. Eligible films must have had their first official screening (be it at a festival or at a regular cinema) between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019. The EFA Board has the right to refrain from this rule in exceptional cases.
Submission deadline is 31 May 2019.
